2017 Honda Accord - P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor Intermittent

Issue / Concern

My 2017 Accord has started acting up. It takes a few extra seconds to start in the morning, and twice now it has just died while I was waiting at a red light. After it stalls, it takes a couple of tries to get it to fire back up. The code P0341 (Camshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance) keep popping up. I replaced the sensor with one from the local parts store, but the problem is still there. I'm starting to hear a slight rattling noise from the passenger side of the engine on cold starts. Is it possible the new sensor is just a dud?
