Issue / Concern

I'm having a weird issue where the car starts perfectly in the morning, but if I drive to the store and try to start it again 10 minutes later, it just cranks and cranks without firing. If I let it sit for an hour, it starts up like nothing happened. I caught a P0335 code (Crankshaft Position Sensor 'A' Circuit). Is this a common thing for a car with only 40,000 miles? I checked the connector and it looks clean.
