2019 Volvo VNL 760 - I-Shift Grinding into Gear - No Alarm Codes

Issue / Concern

My 2019 VNL with the I-Shift transmission has started making a nasty grinding sound when I first put it in gear from a dead stop. Once it's moving, it shifts through the gears relatively smooth, but that initial engagement is getting worse. There are no codes on the dash and Volvo Tech Tool isn't showing any active faults. I had the trans oil changed 40k miles ago. It feels like the clutch isn't fully disengaging or the countershaft brake isn't stopping the internals fast enough.
