2018 Lexus LX570 Seat Control Module A No Communication

Question

The driver's seat on my LX570 has completely stopped moving and the memory settings aren't working at all. I tried to adjust it after my wife drove it, but the side switches and the lumbar are totally unresponsive. I scanned it and found code U0208 stored in several modules.

The issue was a corroded pin in the floor-to-seat harness connector (White 22-pin plug). Moisture from snow on the floor mats had seeped into the connector under the carpet, causing the LIN-bus communication pin to green out. I cleaned the terminals with DeoxIT, applied dielectric grease, and the seat regained full functionality. Lexus part number for a replacement pigtail is 82824-60190 if the pins are too far gone.

Use a multimeter to verify you have 12V power and a solid ground at the 10-pin connector going into the Seat Control Module (Module A) located under the front of the cushion. If power is constant but U0208 remains, the module internals might be fried.
