2012 Jeep Wrangler JK - P0835 - Intermittent No Crank No Start

Issue / Concern

I'm having a random no-start issue on my 6-speed manual Wrangler. I turn the key and the dash lights up, but the starter doesn't even click. If I cycle the key five or six times or push the clutch pedal down really hard, it might start. Sometimes it won't start for an hour then suddenly works fine. I checked the battery terminals and they are tight and clean. Battery tested good at 700 CCA. The P0835 code is for Clutch Pedal Switch 'B' Circuit High. Could it really just be a sensor?
