2014 Chevy Silverado B1001-00 Option Configuration Error after SDM replacement

I recently had to replace the Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM) on this Silverado because the original unit had internal hardware failure. I got a used module from the same year and model, but now I am stuck with a permanent B1001 code and the airbag light is staying on. The VIN was updated in the module using my scan tool, but the error persists and won't clear.
