P0473 - Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor High

What it means

Indicates that the Engine Control Module (ECM) has detected a voltage signal from the Exhaust Pressure (EP) sensor that is higher than the expected operating range. This sensor monitors pressure before the turbocharger or DPF to manage VGT vane position and regeneration cycles.
